Compensation of Officers Ballot Passes 20-2

At Tuesday's general membership meeting a special election was held via secret ballot regarding the proposed compensation for elected officers of Local 414. The vote passed with 91% approval of members present, 20 votes in favor and 2 opposed. 

The following Compensation for officer's is effective immediately moving forward and is non-retroactive:

- $125/month stipend for President
- $125/month stipend for Vice President
- $125/month stipend for Business Agent
- $40/hour worked up to 12.5 hours per month maximum for Secretary/Treasurer
- $0/ month stipend for At-Large Executive Board Members, Trustees, or Sergeant-At-Arms at this time.
- A daily rate of $200 will be compensated to officers attending conventions, conferences, workshops, negotiations, etc. required to perform their elected duties for the betterment of our local.
- Any officer missing/declining a day(s) of work that is covered under IATSE 414 contracts, due to union activities mentioned above, shall be compensated a daily rate of $400.
- The Executive Board will continue to monitor the local’s budget and reevaluate these numbers in one calendar year.
