ABOUT IATSE LOCAL 414

Established in 2014, IATSE Local 414 is a Labor Union (AFL-CIO affiliated) that represents over 60 sports broadcast technicians in the greater Milwaukee area and state of Wisconsin. Our highly skilled technicians, with many years of experience, represent some of the best technical talent in the broadcast industry and bring you over 200+ locally televised sporting events every year. Those events include Brewers and Bucks games, Marquette University and University of Wisconsin sports, plus events on Big Ten Network, FS1, and more. Additionally, many of our members have also worked the biggest events in sports including the Super Bowl, Summer and Winter Olympics, NASCAR, and US Open. If it’s a professional or collegiate sporting event in Wisconsin, chances are our hard working members are there to make sure the show gets on the air.

Crafts represented by IATSE Local 414 include Technical Director, Audio Mixer, A2, Video Engineer, Camera Operator (including Robotics), Graphics Operator, Graphics Coordinator, EVS Operator, Stage Manager, Utility, Score Box Operator, and Statisticians.

Chartered under IATSE international, IASTE Local 414 has negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreements for more than 5 different employers from well-known media companies such as Fox Sports 1, FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin, and Program Productions, Inc to smaller independent crewing companies. We are fully committed to our members and our community, working tirelessly to improve the overall working conditions, wages, and benefits for our industry.
